STEP 1
Using flush-cutters cut the following:
  • One 28-inch length of Accu-Flex® professional-quality beading wire
  • One 2-1/2 inch of length Zebra Wire™ gold color 22-gauge wire
  • One 1-3/4 inch length of gold-plated 5x3.5mm cable chain

STEP 2
String the following onto one gold-plated 2-inch headpin:
  • One pyrite 10m round
  • One Swarovski and gold-plated crystal AB 6x3.5mm rondelle
  • One antique copper button pearl
Using a pair of chain-nose pliers, round-nose pliers and flush-cutters form a simple loop on the straight end of the wire creating a pyrite drop. Repeat to create a total of seven pyrite drops.
STEP 3
Using a pair of chain-nose pliers, round-nose pliers and flush-cutters begin to form a wrapped loop on one end of the 2-1/2 inch length of Zebra Wire. String the last link on one end of the 1-3/4 inch length of cable chain onto the loop and finish the wrapped loop.
STEP 4
String the following onto the straight end of the wire:
  • One Swarovski and gold-plated crystal AB 6x3.5mm rondelle
  • One pyrite 10m round
Begin to form a wrapped loop on the straight end of the wire. String the loop on one gold-plated 12x7mm lobster claw clasp through the loop and finish the wrapped loop creating a pyrite link.
STEP 5
Using a pair of chain-nose pliers and bent-nose pliers open the simple loop on one pyrite drop. Pass the loop through the first chain link attached to the pyrite link. Close the loop. Repeat to attach a second pyrite drop to the same chain link. Repeat to attach two pyrite drops to the fourth and seventh chain links. Repeat to attach one pyrite drop to the last chain link on the opposite end of the chain.

STEP 6
String the following onto the 28-inch length of beading wire:
  • One gold-filled 2x2mm crimp bead
  • One Accu-Guard wire protector
  • The loop on the ring portion of one gold-plated 12mm toggle clasp
Pass the beading wire back through the crimp bead. Pull the beading wire so the crimp rests snug against the Accu-Guard leaving approximately 1/4 inch of beading wire on the end. Place a small amount of adhesive (Loctite®) inside the crimp (optional).

Using crimping pliers crimp the crimp bead. Using flush-cutters trim the excess from the short end of the beading wire. Place one gold-plated 5mm crimp cover over the crimp bead then gently close it.
STEP 7
String the following onto the beading wire:
  • Nine Czech glass metallic gold #11 seed beads
  • Three antique copper button pearls
  • One Swarovski crystal AB 4x2mm rondelle
  • One pyrite 10mm round
  • One Swarovski crystal AB 4x2mm rondelle
  • Three antique copper button pearls
  • Nine Czech glass metallic gold #11 seed beads
  • Repeat the following stringing sequence a total of two times
    • One pyrite 4mm round
    • One gold-plated 4x2mm heishi
  • One pyrite 10mm round
  • Repeat the following stringing sequence a total of two times
    • One gold-plated 4x2mm heishi
    • One pyrite 4mm round
Repeat the stringing sequence of Step 7 a total of nine times.
STEP 8
Continue to string the following:
  • Nine Czech glass metallic gold #11 seed beads
  • Three antique copper button pearls
  • Nine Czech glass metallic gold #11 seed beads
STEP 9
Repeat Step 6 using the bar portion of the toggle clasp to secure the strand.

Note: Attach the tassel focal to the ring portion of the toggle clasp for a convertible look.

Earrings

STEP 1
String the following onto one gold-plated 2-inch headpin:
  • One antique copper button pearl
  • One Swarovski crystal AB 4x2mm rondelle
  • One antique copper button pearl
  • One Swarovski crystal AB 4x2mm rondelle
  • One antique copper button pearl
Using a pair of chain-nose pliers, round-nose pliers and flush-cutters form a wrapped loop on the straight end of the wire creating an antique copper pearl drop.
STEP 2
Using a pair of chain-nose pliers open the loop on one gold-plated 15mm round hoop. Pass the loop through the loop on the antique copper pearl drop. Close the loop.
STEP 3
Repeat Steps 1 and 2 to create a second earring.
