Single-Strand Necklace with Hand-Blown Glass Bead, Wirework and Stainless Steel Chain

STEP 1
Using flush-cutters cut one 4-inch length of gold-colored 22-guage round Zebra Wire™.
STEP 2
Using a 4mm beading awl, starting at the center of the 4-inch length of wire, wrap the wire loosely around the awl to create a 3/4 inch spiral.
STEP 3
String a 25mm round hollow glass bead onto the wire, turning the spiraled portion of the wire until it is situated inside of the glass bead.
STEP 4
Bend the two ends of the wire forming them against the outside of the glass bead until they meet in the middle, about the center of the bead.
STEP 5
Pass both ends of the wire through an antiqued brass 8.5mm cord end. Using a pair of chain-nose pliers, round-nose pliers and flush-cutters, form a wrapped loop on the straight end of both wires.
STEP 6
Using a pair of chain-nose pliers and a pair of flat nose pliers, open a 6mm jumpring. Pass it through the wrapped loop on the glass bead. Close the jumpring. Repeat to attach a second 6mm jumpring next to the first jumpring for double jumprings.
STEP 7
Remove the jumpring from the ball chain connector opposite from the lobster claw clasp. Open an 8mm antiqued gold-plated jumpring. Pass it through the ball chain connector and the double 6mm jumprings attached to the wrapped loop on the glass bead. Close the jumpring.
STEP 8
To secure necklace attach the lobster clasp to the 8mm jumpring.
