Multi-Strand Necklace and Earring Set with Riverstone Gemstone Beads and Czech Glass Seed Beads

Necklace

STEP 1
Using flush-cutters cut the following:
  • One 52-inch length of Accu-Flex® professional-quality beading wire
  • Two 36-inch lengths of beading wire
  • One 2-inch length of Zebra Wire™ silver color wire
STEP 2
String onto one 36-inch length of beading wire one sterling silver 2x2mm crimp bead and one Accu-Guard™ wire protector. Pass the beading wire back through the crimp bead. Pull the beading wire so the crimp rests snug against the Accu-Guard leaving approximately 1/4 inch of beading wire on the end. Place a small amount of adhesive (Loctite®) inside the crimp (optional).

Using crimping pliers crimp the crimp bead. Using flush-cutters trim the excess from the short end of the beading wire.
STEP 3
String onto the beading wire one riverstone dark blue 4mm round and one Czech glass silver-lined light blue #11 seed bead. Repeat this sequence to string a total of seventy-five sets then string one riverstone dark blue 4mm round.

Repeat Step 2 to secure the strand.
STEP 4
Repeat Steps 2 and 3 using the second 36-inch length of beading wire to create a second strand.
STEP 5
Repeat Step 2 using the 52-inch length of beading wire to begin the third strand.
STEP 6
String onto the beading wire one riverstone violet 8mm round and one Czech glass silver-lined light blue #11 seed bead. Repeat this sequence to string a total of seventy-two sets.

Repeat Step 2 to secure the strand.
STEP 7
Using a pair of chain-nose pliers and bent-nose pliers open two silver-plated 4mm jumprings and two silver-plated 6mm jumprings.
STEP 8
Pass one 4mm jumpring through the Accu-Guard on one end of the riverstone violet 8mm round strand and the top loop on one portion of one silver-plated 2-strand slide lock clasp. Close the jumpring.

Repeat to attach the opposite end of the strand to the bottom loop on the same portion of the slide lock clasp.
STEP 9
Pass one riverstone dark blue 4mm round strand through the riverstone violet 8mm round strand so they are linked. Pass one 6mm jumpring through the Accu-Guards on both ends of the strand and the top loop on the second portion of the slide lock clasp.

Repeat to attach the second riverstone dark blue 4mm round strand to the bottom loop on the slide lock clasp.
STEP 10
Wrap one end of the 2-inch length of Zebra Wire twice around the Accu-Flex on one side of the thirty-fifth riverstone 8mm round and seed bead set. Trim excess from the short end of the wire and press the end of the wire to conceal the sharp end.
STEP 11
Pass the wire over the two riverstone dark blue 4mm round strands and repeat Step 10 to secure the strands in place.
