Double-Strand Necklace and Earring Set with Swarovski Crystal and Glass Rhinestone and Silver-Finished "Pewter" Spacers

Necklace

STEP 1
Using flush-cutters cut the following:
  • Two 6-inch lengths of Accu-Flex® professional-quality beading wire
  • One 12-inch length of beading wire
  • One 15-inch length of beading wire
  • Two 2-inch lengths of silver-plated 4mm cable chain
STEP 2
On one silver-plated 1-inch headpin string one Swarovski crystal lilac shadow 6mm globe bead. Using chain-nose pliers, round-nose pliers and flush-cutters create a simple loop on the straight end of the wire.
STEP 3
Using chain-nose pliers and bent-nose pliers open four silver-plated 4mm round jumprings.

Pass one 4mm jumpring through the first link of one 2-inch chain length and the loop of the drop created in Step 2. Close the jumpring.

Pass one 4mm jumpring through the last link of the same 2-inch length of chain. Close the jumpring.
STEP 4
Pass one 4mm jumpring through the first link of the second 2-inch chain length and the loop of one silver-plated swivel lobster claw clasp. Close the jumpring.

Pass one 4mm jumpring through the last link of the same 2-inch length of chain. Close the jumpring.
STEP 5
String onto one 6-inch length of beading wire one sterling silver 2x2mm crimp bead, one silver-plated Accu-Guard™ wire protector and the jumpring on the last link of one 2-inch length of chain.

Pass the beading wire back through the crimp bead. Pull the beading wire so the crimp rests snug against the Accu-Guard. Place a small amount of adhesive (Loctite®) inside the crimp (optional).

Using crimping pliers crimp the crimp bead. Using flush-cutters trim the excess from the short end of the beading wire. Place one silver-plated 4mm crimp cover over the crimp bead then gently close it.
STEP 6
Onto the beading wire string one Swarovski crystal lilac shadow 6mm globe.

Continue by stringing the following pattern onto the beading wire two times:
  • One Swarovski crystal clear and plastic 6x3mm rondelle
  • One Swarovski crystal lilac shadow 6mm globe
  • One Swarovski crystal clear and plastic 6x3mm rondelle
  • One Swarovski crystal lilac shadow 8mm globe
  • One Swarovski crystal clear and plastic 7x3mm rondelle
  • One Swarovski crystal lilac shadow 10mm globe
  • One Swarovski crystal clear and plastic 7x3mm rondelle
  • One Swarovski crystal lilac shadow 8mm globe
  • One Swarovski crystal clear and plastic 6x3mm rondelle
  • One Swarovski crystal lilac shadow 6mm globe
STEP 7
Pass the beading wire through the center hole of one glass rhinestone and silver-finished 3-strand spacer bar.
STEP 8
Onto the beading wire, string one crimp bead. Pull the beading wire so the crimp bead rest snugly against the spacer bar.

Place a small amount of adhesive (Loctite) inside the crimp (optional). Crimp the crimp bead and trim the excess from the short end of the beading wire. Place one 4mm crimp cover over the crimp bead then gently close it.
STEP 9
Onto the 12-inch beading wire string one crimp bead. Position the crimp bead approximately 1/4 of an inch from the end of the beading wire. Place a small amount of adhesive (Loctite) inside the crimp (optional).

Crimp the crimp bead and trim the excess from the short end of the beading wire. Place one 4mm crimp cover over the crimp bead then gently close it.
STEP 10
Pass the beading wire through the inside hole of the spacer bar added in Step 7, with the long end of the beading wire going the opposite direction of the strand previously attached to the spacer bar.
STEP 11
Onto the beading wire, string the following:
  • One Swarovski crystal lilac shadow 6mm globe
  • One Swarovski fuchsia 3mm bicone
  • One Swarovski crystal lilac shadow 6mm globe
  • One Swarovski fuchsia 3mm bicone
  • One Swarovski crystal lilac shadow 6mm globe
  • One Swarovski crystal lilac shadow 8mm globe
  • One Swarovski crystal lilac shadow 8mm small dome bead (larger side first)
  • One Swarovski fuchsia 11mm large dome bead (larger side first)
  • One Swarovski crystal clear and plastic 6x3mm rondelle
  • One Swarovski fuchsia 11mm large dome bead (smaller side first)
  • One Swarovski crystal lilac shadow 8mm small dome bead (smaller side first)
  • One Swarovski crystal lilac shadow 8mm globe
  • One Swarovski crystal clear and plastic 6x3mm rondelle
  • One Swarovski crystal lilac shadow 6mm globe
  • One Swarovski crystal clear and plastic 6x3mm rondelle
  • One Swarovski crystal lilac shadow 6mm globe
  • One Swarovski crystal clear and plastic 6x3mm rondelle
  • One Swarovski crystal lilac shadow 8mm globe
  • One Swarovski crystal lilac shadow 8mm small dome bead (larger side first)
  • One Swarovski fuchsia 11mm large dome bead (larger side first)
STEP 12
String onto the beading wire one Swarovski crystal clear and plastic 6x3mm rondelle.

Continue by stringing the pattern from Step 11 in reverse.

Tip: Be sure to reverse the direction of the Swarovski dome beads as well if you wish to mirror the pattern.
STEP 13
Pass the beading wire through the inside hole of one glass rhinestone and silver-finished 3-hole spacer bar.
STEP 14
Onto the beading wire string one crimp bead. Pull the beading wire so the crimp rests snugly against the spacer bar. Place a small amount of adhesive (Loctite) inside the crimp (optional).

Crimp the crimp bead and trim the excess from the short end of the beading wire. Place one 4mm crimp cover over the crimp bead and then gently close it.
STEP 15
Using the 15-inch length of beading wire and the outside hole of the spacer bar, repeat Steps 9 and 10.
STEP 16
String the following onto the beading wire:
  • One Swarovski crystal lilac shadow 6mm globe
  • One Swarovski fuchsia 3mm bicone
  • One Swarovski crystal lilac shadow 6mm globe
  • One Swarovski fuchsia 3mm bicone
  • One Swarovski crystal lilac shadow 6mm globe
  • One Swarovski fuchsia 3mm bicone
  • One Swarovski crystal lilac shadow 8mm globe
  • One Swarovski crystal lilac shadow 6mm globe
  • One Swarovski crystal lilac shadow 8mm globe
  • One Swarovski crystal lilac shadow 10mm globe
  • One Swarovski crystal lilac shadow 8mm globe
  • One Swarovski crystal lilac shadow 6mm globe

STEP 17
String onto the beading wire one Swarovski crystal clear and plastic 6x3mm rondelle.

Continue by stringing the pattern from Step 18 in reverse.

Tip: Be sure to reverse the direction of the Swarovski dome beads as well if you wish to mirror the pattern.
STEP 18
Pass the beading wire through the outside hole of the glass rhinestone and silver-finished 3-hole spacer bar added in Step 13.
STEP 19
Onto the beading wire string one crimp bead. Pull the beading wire so the crimp rests snugly against the spacer bar. Place a small amount of adhesive (Loctite) inside the crimp (optional).

Crimp the crimp bead and trim the excess from the short end of the beading wire. Place one 4mm crimp cover over the crimp bead and then gently close it.
STEP 20
Onto the second 6-inch beading wire string one crimp bead. Position the crimp bead approximately 1/4 of an inch from the end of the beading wire. Place a small amount of adhesive (Loctite) inside the crimp (optional).

Crimp the crimp bead and trim the excess from the short end of the beading wire. Place one 4mm crimp cover over the crimp bead then gently close it.
STEP 21
Pass the beading wire through the center hole of the spacer bar added in Step 13, with the long end of the beading wire going the opposite direction of the strands previously attached to the spacer bar.
STEP 22
String the following onto the beading wire two times:
  • One Swarovski crystal lilac shadow 6mm globe
  • One Swarovski crystal clear and plastic 6x3mm rondelle
  • One Swarovski crystal lilac shadow 8mm globe
  • One Swarovski crystal clear and plastic 7x3mm rondelle
  • One Swarovski crystal lilac shadow 10mm globe
  • One Swarovski crystal clear and plastic 7x3mm rondelle
  • One Swarovski crystal lilac shadow 8mm globe
  • One Swarovski crystal clear and plastic 6x3mm rondelle
  • One Swarovski crystal lilac shadow 6mm globe
  • One Swarovski crystal clear and plastic 6x3mm rondelle
String one Swarovski crystal lilac shadow 6mm globe.
STEP 23
Onto the beading wire, string one sterling silver 2x2mm crimp bead, one silver-plated Accu-Guard wire protector and the jumpring on the last link of the second 2-inch length of chain.

Pass the beading wire back through the crimp bead. Pull the beading wire so the crimp rests snug against the Accu-Guard. Place a small amount of adhesive (Loctite) inside the crimp (optional).

Crimp the crimp bead and trim the excess from the short end of the beading wire. Place one 4mm crimp cover over the crimp bead then gently close it.

Earrings

STEP 1
Using flush-cutters cut two 6-inch lengths of beading wire.
STEP 2
Apply a Bead Bug to the end of one 6-inch length of beading wire and string one sterling silver 2x2mm crimp bead.
STEP 3
Continue to string the following:
  • One Swarovski crystal lilac shadow 6mm globe
  • One Swarovski crystal clear and plastic 6x3mm rondelle
  • One Swarovski crystal lilac shadow 8mm globe
  • One Swarovski crystal clear and plastic 6x3mm rondelle
  • One Swarovski crystal lilac shadow 6mm globe
  • One Swarovski fuchsia 11mm large dome bead (larger end first)
  • One Swarovski crystal lilac shadow 11mm large dome bead (larger end first)
STEP 4
String one Swarovski crystal clear and plastic 6x3mm rondelle.

Continue by reversing and stringing the pattern used in Step 3. Tip: Be sure to reverse the direction of the Swarovski dome beads as well if you wish to mirror the pattern.
STEP 5
Remove the Bead Bug added in Step 2. Pass the beading wire through the crimp bead, so both ends of the beading wire pass through the crimp bead in opposite directions. Pull the beading wire so the strand creates a hoop, leaving about 1mm of space on each side of the crimp bead. Place a small amount of adhesive (Loctite) inside the crimp (optional).

Using crimping pliers crimp the crimp bead. Using flush-cutters trim the short ends of the beading wire. Place one silver-plated 8x3.5mm bottom clamp-style bead tip over the crimp bead and gently close.
STEP 6
Repeat Steps 2 - 5 to create a second hoop.
STEP 7
Using chain-nose pliers and bent-nose pliers open two silver-plated 4mm jumprings.

Pass one jumpring through the loop of one bead tip and the loop of one silver-plated leverback earwire. Close the jumpring.

Repeat to complete the second earring.
