Single-Strand Necklace and Earring Set with Swarovski Crystal and Gold-Plated Steel Chain

Necklace

STEP 1
Using flush-cutters cut one 23-inch length of Accu-Flex® professional-quality beading wire and four 2-inch lengths of gold-plated 3.3mm cable chain.
STEP 2
String onto the beading wire one gold-filled 2x2mm crimp bead, one Accu-Guard™ wire protector and the loop on one gold-plated 14x8mm lobster claw clasp. Pass the beading wire back through the crimp bead. Pull the beading wire so the crimp rests snug against the Accu-Guard leaving approximately 1/4 inch of beading wire on the end. Place a small amount of adhesive (Loctite®) inside the crimp (optional).

Using crimping pliers crimp the crimp bead. Using flush-cutters trim the excess from the short end of the beading wire. Place one gold-plated 4mm crimp cover over the crimp bead then gently close it.
STEP 3
String the following onto the beading wire:
  • One Swarovski fuchsia AB 6mm round
  • One gold-plated and Swarovski 4mm rondelle
  • Twenty Swarovski cream 6mm round pearls
  • One gold-plated and Swarovski 6mm rondelle
  • One Swarovski fuchsia 11mm dome small (smaller end first)
  • One Swarovski cream 12mm round pearl
  • One Swarovski fuchsia 11mm dome small (larger end first)
  • One gold-plated and Swarovski 6mm rondelle
  • Seven Swarovski cream 6mm round pearls
  • Three metallic gold #11 seed beads
STEP 4
Continue to string:
  • One Swarovski cream 12mm round pearl
  • One gold-plated and Swarovski 12mm rondelle
  • One Swarovski fuchsia 11mm dome small (smaller end first)
STEP 5
Pass the beading wire through one gold-plated Accu-Guard and back up through the beads from Step 3.
STEP 6
Repeat the stringing sequence from Step 2 in the opposite direction to string the second half of the necklace.
STEP 7
Repeat Step 2 to attach the end of the beading wire to the ring portion of one gold-plated toggle clasp.
STEP 8
Using a pair of chain-nose pliers and bent-nose pliers open the loop on one 2-1/2 inch gold-plated eyepin. Pass the loop through the first link on each of the four lengths of chain. Close the loop.
STEP 9
String the following onto the eyepin:
  • One Swarovski fuchsia 11mm dome small (larger end first)
  • One gold-plated and Swarovski 12mm rondelle
  • One Swarovski fuchsia 11mm dome small (smaller end first)
  • One Swarovski cream 12mm round pearl
STEP 10
Using a pair of chain-nose pliers, round-nose pliers and flush-cutters form a simple loop on the straight end of the wire to create Swarovski dome link.
STEP 11
Using a pair of chain-nose pliers and bent-nose pliers open one gold-plated 15mm twisted jumpring. Pass the jumping through the top loop on the Swarovski dome link and the Accu-Guard at the center of the necklace. Close the jumpring.
