Double-Strand Necklace and Earring Set with Swarovski Crystal, Seed Beads and Glass Rhinestone Chatons

Necklace

STEP 1
Using a pair of chain-nose pliers and bent-nose pliers, open one 5mm jumpring. Pass it through the loop on a lobster claw clasp. Close the jumpring.
STEP 2
Using flush-cutters, cut one 21-inch and one 15-inch length of Accu-Flex® professional-quality beading wire. String onto the wire: one crimp tube, one gunmetal-plated Accu-Guard™ wire protector and the jumpring attached to the lobster claw clasp. Pass the wire back through the crimp tube, leaving one end of the wire approximately 1-inch long. Pull the crimp tight against the Accu-Guard. Place a small amount of adhesive (Loctite®) inside the crimp (optional).

Using the crimping pliers, crimp the crimp tube. Using flush-cutters, trim the excess wire from the short end.

Place an antiqued silver-plated crimp cover over the crimp tube then gently close it.
STEP 3
String onto the 26-inch length of beading wire after the crimp bead the following:
  • Nine Swarovski crystal lilac shadow 10x8mm faceted mini ovals
  • One silver-plated and Swarovski crystal AB 4mm rondelle
  • One Swarovski crystal lilac shadow 10x8mm faceted mini oval

STEP 4
String onto the beading wire one crimp bead. Pass the end of the 15-inch length of beading wire through the crimp bead on the first strand. Make sure there is no slack along the length of the first strand. Place a small amount of gel adhesive inside the crimp (optional). Using the crimping pliers, crimp the crimp tube. Using flush-cutters, trim excess wire from the short end of the 15-inch beading wire. Place a gold-plated crimp cover over the crimp tube then gently close it.
STEP 5
String onto the 21-inch length of beading wire after the crimp bead the following:
  • Twenty-three metallic gold #11 seed beads
  • Six sets of:

Place a small amount of gel adhesive inside the crimp (optional). Using the crimping pliers, crimp the crimp tube. Using flush-cutters, trim excess wire from the short end of the 15-inch beading wire. Place a gold-plated crimp cover over the crimp tube then gently close it.

Earrings

STEP 1
Place a rose 10mm glass rhinestone chaton into a gunmetal-finished 10mm round bezel setting. Using a bezel roller, gently roll the edge of the bezel down against the chaton. Place the bezel roller against the opposite side of the bezel. Continue to push the edge of bezel onto the chaton all the way around the bezel, working from one side to the opposite side. Repeat to create two glass rhinestone 10mm chaton bezel drops.
STEP 2
String one Swarovski Indian pink 6mm bicone onto an eyepin. Using a pair of chain-nose pliers, round-nose pliers and flush-cutters, form a simple loop on the straight end of the wire. Repeat to create two Swarovski Indian pink 6mm bicone bead links.
STEP 3
Using a pair of chain-nose pliers and bent-nose pliers, open the loop on one earwire. Pass it through the top loop on one Swarovski Indian pink 6mm bicone bead link. Close the loop. Open the opposite loop on the Swarovski Indian pink 6mm bicone bead link. Pass the loop through the loop on the top of one glass rhinestone 10mm chaton bezel drop. Close the loop.
