Necklace

STEP 1
Cut a 4-foot piece of FireLine® thread and thread onto a beading needle.
STEP 2
String three cobalt seed beads onto the end of the thread. Pass the needle through all of the beads one more time to create the first circle. Tie the end of the thread onto the circled thread using two overhand knots. Place a small amount of adhesive onto the knot for added security (optional).
STEP 3
String two cobalt seed beads onto the thread and pass the thread through the top of the first seed bead on the first row. Continue to weave two cobalt seed beads to create the second row of the mandala. Use single amethyst purple seed beads for the third row and double amethyst purple seed beads for the fourth row. Use a single matte lilac seed bead for the fifth row and one silver-plated 2.5mm round bead, one violet seed bead, and one silver-plated 2.5mm round bead for the sixth row. Tie off the tail using two overhand knots.
STEP 4
Repeat Steps 1 through 3 to create sixteen beaded mandalas.
STEP 5
Using flush-cutting pliers cut one 22-inch length of silver-finished 1.5mm ball chain.
STEP 6
String one silver-plated 21mm drop onto the center of the chain. String eight beaded mandalas onto the right side of the chain. Separate the first and second mandala positioning the edge of the second mandala at the level of the center of the first mandala. Using the thread attach the outer edge of the second mandala to the first mandala on both the right and left edge. Repeat to attach each of the eight mandalas to each other staggered 1/2 inch apart.

Repeat to attach eight mandalas on the left side of the chain.
STEP 7
Pass the first end of the chain through the crimp tube portion of the crimp end. Use chain-nose pliers to firmly crimp the center portion of the crimp over the chain. Repeat to attach the second crimp end to the opposite end of the chain.
STEP 8
Using one pair of chain-nose pliers and one pair of bent-nose pliers, open a 4mm jumpring. Pass it through the loop on the ring portion of the clasp and the loop on the first crimp end. Close the jumpring.

Repeat to attach the bar portion of the clasp to the second crimp end.
