Bracelet with Czech Fire-Polished Glass Dipped Decor Glass Beads and Faux Suede Lace Cord

STEP 1
Cut one 9-inch length of lavender faux suede cord and one five foot length of grey size FFF Purely Silk™ thread.
STEP 2
Fold the five foot length of thread in half at the center and then match up the folded center with one end of the cord. Secure the folded center and end to a surface.

Make a square knot using the two outside silk threads (working strands 1 and 3) over one 9-inch length of lavender faux suede cord (anchor strand 2).

Basic square knot pattern:

Pass strand 1 over the anchor strand, then pass strand 3 over strand 1, under the anchor strand and up through the loop (created by strand 1) then pull snug (this is a half knot). Reverse the pattern by passing strand 3 over the anchor strand, then pass strand 1 over strand 3, under the anchor strand and up through the loop then pull snug.

Note: It's important to alternate strands to get a flat pattern. Starting consistently with the same strand will cause the pattern to twist.
STEP 3
Apply a small amount of E-6000® Fray Lock™ adhesive to the end of the faux suede cord and the first square knot. Insert the end into one 9x5mm rectangle ribbon crimp end then close.
STEP 4
Pass one 6mm jumpring through the loop on the previous ribbon crimp end then close.

Tip: Pin or tape this jumpring to your work station to make it easier to form even knots as you continue with the square knot pattern.
STEP 5
Separate the threads from the anchor strand and then string two light yellow 3mm rounds onto strand 1 and one light yellow 3mm round onto strand 3. Make one half knot around the anchor strand positioning the second light yellow 3mm round on strand 1 in the middle of the half knot.

String one light yellow 3mm round onto strand 3 then reverse the pattern to create the other half of the square knot.
STEP 6
Repeat to create a total of two square knots and the first half of a square knot.
STEP 7
Continue to create three square knots using light yellow 4mm rounds.
STEP 8
String one light yellow 4mm round and one light yellow 6mm round onto strand 1 and one light yellow 4mm round onto strand 3. Make one half knot around the anchor strand positioning the light yellow 6mm round on strand 1 in the middle of the half knot.

Create the other half of the square knot.

Repeat to create a total of two square knots.
STEP 9
Continue to create two square knots using light yellow 8mm rounds instead of 6mm rounds and one square knot using one light yellow 10mm round.
STEP 10
Continue to create one square knot using one light yellow 12mm round, then repeat Steps 5 - 9 in the opposite direction then repeat Steps 2 and 3 to secure the bracelet. Trim excess thread.

Pass one 4mm jumpring through the loop on one lobster claw clasp and the loop on the ribbon crimp end then close.
