Multi-Strand Necklace and Earring Set with Silver-Coated Plastic Focals, Swarovski Crystal and Silver-Plated Brass Beads

Necklace

STEP 1
Cut the following length of Accu-Flex professional-quality beading wire:
  • One 20-inch length
  • One 22-inch length
  • One 24-inch length
  • One 26-inch length

First Strand

STEP 2
String onto the 20-inch length of beading wire: one crimp and one Accu-Guard™ wire protector. Pass the beading wire back through the crimp. Pull the beading wire so the crimp rests snug against the Accu-Guard leaving approximately 1/4 inch of beading wire on the end.

Crimp, then trim the excess from the short end of the beading wire. Finish with a 4mm crimp cover.
STEP 3
String 66 Pacifica 4mm bicones; blue shade, light azore, light turquoise, aquamarine, indicolite AB and Capri blue, shading in an ombré pattern; stringing one 2mm square round between each bicone.

Repeat Step 2 to secure the strand.

Second Strand

STEP 4
Repeat Step 2 using the 22-inch length of beading wire to begin the second strand.

String 25 Pacifica 4mm bicones; blue shade, light azore, light turquoise, aquamarine and indicolite AB, shading in an ombré pattern; stringing one 2mm square round between each bicone.
STEP 5
Continue to string the following:
  • One Capri blue 4mm bicone
  • One 3mm smooth round
  • The top hole on one 2-strand double spike spacer
  • One 3mm smooth round
Repeat this sequence to string a total of five sets then string one Capri blue 4mm bicone.
STEP 6
Continue to string 25 Pacifica 4mm bicones creating a mirror image of the ombré pattern in Step 4, stringing one 2mm square round between each bicone.

Repeat Step 2 to secure the strand.

Third Strand

STEP 7
Repeat Step 2 using the 24-inch length of beading wire to begin the third strand.

String 16 Pacifica 6mm bicones; blue shade, light azore, light turquoise, aquamarine and indicolite AB, shading in an ombré pattern; stringing one 3mm smooth round between each bicone.
STEP 8
Continue to string the following:
  • One Capri blue 6mm bicone
  • One 4mm smooth round
  • The bottom hole on one 2-strand double spike spacer from the second strand (Step 5)
  • One 4mm smooth round
Repeat this sequence to string a total of five sets then string one Capri blue 6mm bicone.
STEP 9
Continue to string 16 Pacifica 6mm bicones creating a mirror image of the ombré pattern in Step 7, stringing one 3mm smooth round between each bicone.

Repeat Step 2 to secure the strand.

Fourth Strand

STEP 10
Repeat Step 2 using the 26-inch length of beading wire to begin the fourth strand.

String 20 Pacifica 6mm bicones; blue shade, light azore, light turquoise, aquamarine and indicolite AB, shading in an ombré pattern; stringing one 3mm smooth round between each bicone.
STEP 11
Continue to string the following:
  • One Capri blue 6mm bicone
  • One 3mm smooth round
  • One 32x5mm round spike focal
  • One 3mm smooth round
Repeat this sequence to string a total of two sets.
STEP 12
Repeat the sequence from Step 11 using one 50x6mm round spike focal to string three sets.

Repeat the sequence in Step 11 to string two more sets then string one Capri blue 6mm bicone.
STEP 13
Continue to string 20 Pacifica 6mm bicones creating a mirror image of the ombré pattern in Step 10, stringing one 3mm smooth round between each bicone.

Repeat Step 2 to secure the strand.

Necklace Assembly

STEP 14
Pass one 4mm jumpring through the first Accu-Guard on the first strand and the top loop on one 19.5x3.5mm 4-strand end bar then close. Repeat to attach the opposite end of the strand to the top loop on a second end bar.

Repeat to attach the second strand to the next loop on each end bar. Repeat to attach the third and fourth strand to the adjacent loops.
STEP 15
Using one 8x6mm oval jumpring attach one portion of the hook-and-eye clasp to the single loop on one end bar. Repeat to attach the second portion of the clasp.

Earrings

STEP 1
Apply a small amount of G-S Hypo cement to the bezel on one 26mm fishhook earwire. Arrange four sapphire blue 1.6mm chatons in the bezel.

Repeat to attach chatons to the second earwire then set them aside to dry for approximately 10 minutes.
STEP 2
String one Pacifica 6mm bicone onto one 2-inch spear paddle pin then form a simple loop. Repeat to create a total of 24 Pacifica bicone drops using two of each color.
STEP 3
Pass one 5mm jumpring through the loop on one 32x5mm round spike focal and one 4mm jumpring then close.

Continue to connect a total of four 4mm jumprings creating a chain. Pass one 4mm jumpring through the loop on the fishhook earwire and the last jumpring on the chain then close.
STEP 4
Attach 12 bicone drops to the jumpring chain.
STEP 5
Repeat Steps 2 - 4 to create a second earring.
