I am inspired first, by people and pieces I see them wearing, secondly by leaves and plants, and thirdly by "what if" ideas and concepts.

I don't recall who introduced me to beading. I can remember only that it was a craft class during Brownies or Girl Scouts when I was 7 or 8. The "a-ha!" moment was when I was about 11 or 12 and figured out how to fix my favorite necklace that my grandmother had given me--a silver cable chain with a mustard seed charm.
Beading is my life outside of my two small children (2 and 4 years old) and my husband's new business. I work on pieces during nap time and after 8pm when the kids are asleep. I rent a shared space in a small art and craft gallery and work 6+ hours gallery-sitting per month.
