Since beginning to design in 2000, Peggy Sturman's work has been judged into several competitions, including Swarovski's ''Create Your Style'' competitions; Dairy Barn's 2006 and 2008 Bead International; Palos Verdes' Wearable Expressions; Wayne Art Center ArtForms; and Bead Dreams. Her work has been published in Bead and Button magazine; Judith Giffin's ''Bead Crochet Pattern Designs;'' Diane Fitzgerald's The Beaded Garden; and Lark's ''Beading with Crystals.''
Peggy Sturman maintains a design studio in New York City and loves to teach beadwork, both off-loom stitches as well as her specialty, bead crochet.
Peggy is a member of the exclusive Ambassador Program of Swarovski crystal.
