Jet Set Pendant with Swarovski Crystal
Get inspired by Swarovski design team's limitless imagination. Magical project ideas bring a new dimension to simple techniques.
Tiny beads jostle naturally into a fab flower on this super stylish pendant.
If you want to add a classic yet glamorous finishing touch to your outfit then this flat-backed pendant is perfect. Its black and cocoa color scheme is a combo which never dates, and clever wirework allows you to bead neatly around a disk which steady the shape.
Glue the end of the ribbon to the back of the washer and wrap the ribbon around it. Go through the hole and ensure the washer is covered. Secure the end of the ribbon at the back with a spot of glue. Leave to dry.
Cut one meter of brass wire. Wrap the wire once around and through the top of the washer, leaving a 5cm tail at the front. Thread on one 4mm mocca, one 3mm mocca, one 2mm smoked topaz and a 2mm jet, wrap the wire around the washer and through the hole so that the beads sit at the front. Wrap the wire around the washer again to secure the beads in place.
Thread on five 6007 pendants, one 5000 golden shadow bead, one 4mm mocca, one 3mm mocca and one 2mm smoked topaz. At the top of the washer form the 6007 pendant covered wire into a loop and twist to hold into place. Thread the wire through the hole and wrap round once more to secure the beads.
Repeat Steps Two and Three six times. Twist the ends of the wire together to secure. Fold them to the back of the pendant and trim with cutters.
Fold the cord in half, thread the loop at the middle of it through the pendant between two 6007 pendant clusters, then thread both cord ends through the loop, pull tight so that the cord sits over one row of beads.
Tie a square knot 0.5cm above the loop. To make the necklace an adjustable length tie two slip knots at each end of the cord.
