Using Cord Caps

by Tammy Honaman, Author, Jewelry-Making Expert and Educator,

Cut a length of wire. Gather a few lengths of cording that fit the internal diameter of your cord cap. Wrap the wire around the cords to secure them together.
Insert a headpin into the cord cap so the ball or flat end of the headpin rests inside the cord cap. TIP: If the headpin comes through the hole, place a small bali-style rondelle or small round bead onto the end of the headpin so it remains inside the cord cap.

Apply adhesive to the cording and insert into the cord cap. Let the adhesive cure overnight.
Create a wrapped loop on the end of the headpin.
