|After punching a hole in the leather, lay the washer or component over the hole and push the brad through both pieces.|
|While holding the brad and washer in place, turn the leather over and lay it on a metal block.
Add a flat washer to the brad then trim the brad with side-cutters to about 2mm above the flat washer.
|Using a ball peen hammer, hammer the brad flat against the washer securing the components in place.|
