Plated steel low-profile bola slide works with 3-4mm cord. First glue a cabochon or ornament to the front face of the bola slide, which has a round mounting hole for better adhesion, then slide the cord through the loops. Loops can be gently loosened or tightened with pliers. Using pliers, attach the bola cord tips by evenly crimping the tabs at the wide part of the tip against the cord. Adjusting the bola tie is simple: just loosen or tighten the tie by sliding the cord.
