How do I wash dyed beads?

We suggest using lukewarm water to rinse dyed gemstone beads and then leave them to air dry. Don't rub or dry them yourself since this can rub off the color.

Once the stones are dry, apply an artist's fixative like Mona Lisa™ Metal Leaf™ Sealer top coat to seal in the color and prevent fading.

After the fixative has been applied and the stone has dried completely, you will be able to use your beads in your designs.
