When using a sterling silver pinch bail on a briolette, does pinching it together make a secure attachment, or should I be using some type of glue on the bail?

You can use ice-pick bails without glue, although it is recommended to use G-S Hypo Cement® adhesive on the ends of the bail prongs before inserting into the pendant holes. The glue will offer added security once cured (24 hours) and peace of mind.
