What type of threads can I use for crystals? Can I use silk thread or only wire?

You can use thread with crystals if you would like. It is recommended to use Nymo® nylon thread size D since it is the heaviest Nymo thread available, or Silkon® bonded nylon thread #2. Both threads are nylon based and resistant to the sharp edges crystals can sometimes have.
You can also use PowerCord® elastic cord for a stretchy design. For designs using a clasp, Accu-Flex® professional quality beading wire is always your safest bet, as it's strong, durable and has a protective nylon coating.
