How many inches long should I make bracelets?

The standard adult-sized bracelet is approximately 7 inches for women and 8 inches for men. If you don't know the wrist size of the person you are designing for, it is recommended to design to a length of 6-1/2 inches to 7 inches long, then incorporate a chain extender so the bracelet will fit from 7 inches to about 8-1/2 inches.
