Is your Devcon Jeweler's 2 Ton Epoxy safe for freshwater pearls? Thanks.

Devcon® 2 Ton® Clear Epoxy 30-minute 2-part adhesive works great for securely gluing cultured freshwater pearls, and, according to the folks at Devcon, shouldn't damage the pearl's natural coating, or nacre. Since pearls have such a slick surface, the bond will be stronger if you lightly sand the attachment point before gluing. Note that this epoxy turns slightly yellow after a couple of years, so make sure the glue point is hidden.
