I have some lovely dyed wood beads that look great on my necklace designs. The only problem is that I have noticed makeup and grime seem to be attracted to the natural grains and crevices in the wood. Should I try sealing the wood beads to help keep them clean? What type of sealant do you suggest?

Mona Lisa™ Metal Leaf™ sealer seals and protects dyed beads as well as polymer clay beads and gold leaf designs. Carefully wipe the makeup or other residue from the beads with a clean cloth. Apply a thin coat of Mona Lisa Metal Leaf sealer with a paintbrush and let dry overnight for a glossy finish.

If you prefer a matte finish, use SpectraFix™ spray-on fixative. This is an odor-free, non-toxic mist that gives a clear, matte finish.
