I have a pretty rose cabochon with petals that can't be set in a bezel. Should I wire wrap it—if so, how do I do this? Thank you.

Wiring up the rose cabochon is a great option but the wire may show between the layers of the carved rose cabochon. To keep the face of the cabochon free of metal, you can use a glue-on bail. Choose the right size and metal to "float" the carved rose. Depending on the size of the cabochon, you can then use it as a pendant or charm. Review the Glue Types and Information Chart and Video to choose the right type of adhesive.
For a more complex design, use a mix of natural preserved roses and carved designs with similar glue-on bails.
