How can I string 4-5mm Ethiopian opal beads? Should I use wire? If so, what gauge? If nylon, what size? I bought beading needles, but when I use nylon thread it doesn’t go through the bead holes. Thanks.
Very small gemstone beads can have extremely small holes. We recommend stringing your Ethiopian opals on 4lb crystal FireLine™ and using a twisted beading needle with a collapsible eye.
