I'm making jewelry and keychains using glass cabochons and to stainless steel bases. What is the best type of glue to use? Will E6000 mess up the picture or words on the cabochon? Thank you.
If you are using glass cabochons over paper, we suggest sealing the paper first with Sculpey liquid polymer clay. Paint it evenly and thinly on both sides with a paintbrush. Put on a piece of silicone and bake at 275 degrees Fahrenheit (135 degrees Celsius) for 15 minutes. Glue this to your setting with a light coat of Devcon 5 minute epoxy. Then coat the image surface with Fray Lock™. Have rubbing alcohol and cotton swabs ready. Push the cab firmly into the Fray Lock then remove any excess with the alcohol and cotton swabs before it dries.
