How do you wire cupchain? Can lengths be attached to each other?

Cupchain is connected using special cupchain connectors. Just cut your chain to the desired length and set the end link into the connector cup. Then use chain nose pliers to bend the prongs down over the cup chain link. There is a loop at the opposite end of the connector.

You can join different lengths of cupchain using jump rings and the loops on the connectors—even different sizes.
