I am struggling with finishing a necklace with a delicate single charm. It is strung on a very delicate chain, and I have no earthly idea how to finish the chain so that I can then attach an equally delicate clasp. I am assuming that super glue is out, but what are my other choices? Thanks so very much for your kind assistance!

Finishing chain with no open links can seem challenging for sure. But we can make it easier! The simplest way to finish your delicate chain to attach your delicate clasp is to use a small crimp end with a loop

Find a crimp end that has an inside diameter equal to or slightly larger than the diameter of your chain. Grip the center of the crimp tube with the tip of some fine chain nose pliers. Slide in the chain until you can see it in the loop. Pull it back very slightly so you can no longer see it, but it is fully encased in the crimp tube. Then crimp down firmly. You can now add a jump ring to add your clasp.
