I make old wine bottles into hummingbird feeders by beading them. If I make beads from polymer clay and finish them properly, will they be able to be used outdoors in bright sunlight and high (118 degrees) temperatures and still keep their color?

When it comes to polymer clay, heat and sun exposure, heat is not as much of a factor as direct sunlight. Over time, lots of hot sun will cause fading, just like with most plastics and dyes. Brighter colors (reds, oranges, pinks, purples) are especially prone to fading or shifting tone. White and translucent clays may yellow slightly with prolonged sun exposure. Metallics and dark colors tend to hold up better, but they can still dull with time outdoors.
