Instructions
Using flush cutters, cut the paperclip chain at the end of one long link. Skip the second long link and then cut the chain again at the third long link.
The small section of chain will have three small links, one long link and three small links.
Choose one end of this section to be the “top.” Using flush cutters, cut and remove the first small link at the top. Then use the flush cutters to remove the final two small links at the bottom.
Now, this small section of chain will have two small links, one long link and one small link.
Using bent chain-nose pliers, gently open the bail of the butterfly pendant. Insert the first small link at the “top” of this short chain section into the bail so it hangs behind the butterfly. Firmly but gently squeeze the bail closed if necessary.
The section of chain will dangle behind the butterfly pendant.
Open a stainless steel jump ring and add a single Crystal Passions® dark sapphire briolette. Add the jump ring and briolette to the one small link at the “bottom” of the short section of chain. Close the jump ring.
Slide the completed pendant onto the French rope chain.
