How to Use Cupchain Connectors

Cupchain connectors are used to securely join sections of cupchain or attach them to clasps, findings, or other components. They provide a neat, professional finish for bracelets, necklaces, and other jewelry designs using rhinestone chain.

Instructions

Step 1
Glue being added to cupchain connector

Apply a small dab of Loctite® 454 Gel adhesive to interior bottom of connector.

Step 2
End of cupchain being inserted into the connector

Insert the last cupchain link into the connector.

Step 3
Flat-nose pliers bending prongs of the connector.

Using flat-nose pliers, gently bend the connector prongs over the cupchain link.
