How to Use Suncatcher Connectors

Barrel connectors—available in gold- or silver-finished brass—are a versatile solution for creating and customizing suncatchers, wind chimes and hanging displays. Designed with both vertical and horizontal holes, these connectors offer flexible design options and strong support. The twist-in mechanism ensures a seamless, secure hold while still allowing you to easily disconnect components for cleaning or updating your design. Use multiple connectors to switch out beads, crystals or decorative elements for different seasons, holidays or themes. These connectors also work well for hanging signage and displayed items, making them a practical choice for a wide range of projects.
Instructions
Step 1
Attach a crimp onto one end of a length of flexible beading wire. Pass the opposite end of the beading wire through the vertical hole in one end of the connector.
String beads onto the beading wire as desired then secure with a loop or finding.
Step 2
Create a bail for the suncatcher focal using wire or beading wire and attach it to the horizontal hole in the second portion of the connector.
Step 3
Twist the two ends of the connector together and hang as desired.
