What inspires you as a designer-artist?

Balance and moderation. Simplicity and elegance. Being heaven minded and down to earth at the same time. One of my favorite quotes conveys that "A woman with class is timeless".

What medium do you work with mostly?

Precious metal in its many forms.

Why did you become enchanted with this style of jewelry-making?

I started finding joy in jewelry when my grandmother first set a bulging bag of assorted beads in front of me. I would sit for hours learning to organize my patterns, securing knots that would stay, and making things better with each discovery.

Once I mastered beaded jewelry, I moved on to pearl knotting, chainmaille, wire wrapping, and professional jewelry repairs. I have even become proficient at CAD based jewelry designs for custom occasions.

After 20 years of discovery, I am now a journeyman jeweler and find the most happiness when I'm sharing my designs and talents with others.

What inspired this design?

Classy women of the 1950's and 60's including Jacqueline Kennedy Onassis.

How did it come together?

It was a simple and sure choice to make a classic reference. I believe you can judge a cook by his soup. In other words, you can see someone's talent by how he completes something simple.
