- Seed bead, Delica®, glass, Duracoat® opaque galvanized yellow gold, (DB1833), #11 round
- Bead, Miyuki, TILA®, glass, transparent Picasso turquoise blue, (TL4506), 5mm square with (2) 0.8mm holes, fits up to 3mm beads
- Seed bead, Miyuki, glass, opaque 24Kt gold-plated (RR191), #15 rocaille
- Bead, Preciosa, Czech pressed glass, opaque marbled green, 8.5x3mm half moon with (2) 0.8-0.9mm holes
- Clasp, lobster claw, gold-plated brass, 14x8mm with swivel
- Jump ring, gold-plated brass, 7mm round, 5.5mm inside diameter, 20 gauge
- Thread, Berkley® FireLine®, gel-spun polyethylene, smoke, 0.15mm diameter 4-fiber braid, 6-pound test
- Jump ring, gold-plated brass, 6mm round, 4.2mm inside diameter, 18 gauge
- Jump ring, gold-plated brass, 4mm round, 2.4mm inside diameter, 20 gauge
- Needle, steel, #10 economy with 0.6mm eye width, 2-1/4 inches
Instructions
Step 1
Cut a 20-inch length of FireLine® Thread.
Add a beading needle and a stop bead to the thread.
Inner Strand
Step 2
Pick up four #11 Delica seed beads.
Step 3
Pick up the following:
- One Tila bead
- One Delica
- Left hole of one half moon bead
- One Delica
- One Tila
- One Delica
- Left hole of one half moon bead
- One Delica
- One Tila
- Two Delicas
- Right hole of one half moon bead
- Two #15 rocaille seed beads
Step 4
Pick up the following:
- One Tila bead
- One Delica
- Left hole of one half moon bead
- One Delica
- One Tila
- One Delica
- Left hole of one half moon bead
- One Delica
- One Tila
- Two rocailles
- Right hole of one half moon bead
- Two rocailles
Step 5
Pick up the following:
- One Tila
- One Delica
- Left hole of one half moon bead
- One Delica
- One Tila
- One Delica
- Left hole of one half moon bead
- One Delica
- One Tila
Step 6
Pick up four Delicas then repeat Steps 3 - 5 in reverse, passing through the left hole of the half moon beads previously picked up by the right hole.
Step 7
Remove the stop bead.
Pass through the first five beads on the strand again and pull the beads into a circle.
Add a stop bead to temporarily secure the strand.
Outer Strand
Step 8
Cut a 20-inch length of FireLine® Thread.
Add a beading needle and a stop bead to the thread.
Step 9
Pick up the left hole of a half moon bead and two Delicas.
Step 10
Pick up the following:
- The right hole of the first Tila of the inner strand
- Two Delicas
- The right hole of the next half moon of the inner strand
- Two Delicas
- The right hole of the next Tila
- Two Delicas
- The right hole of the next half moon
- Two Delicas
- The right hole of the next Tila
- Four Delicas
Repeat two more times.
Step 11
Pick up the following:
- The right hole of the next Tila
- Two Delicas
- The right hole of the next half moon
- Two Delicas
- The right hole of the next Tila
- Two Delicas
- The right hole of the next half moon
- Two Delicas
- The right hole of the next Tila
- Two Delicas
Step 12
Repeat Steps 9 - 11 to complete the outer strand.
Pass through the first five beads of the outer strand.
Step 13
Remove the stop bead on the inner strand. Pull both strands tight to cinch the strands at the center half moon beads. Secure each strand with small knots.
Completing the Bracelet
Step 14
Add a 7mm jump ring to the vacant hole of the half moon bead at each end of the bracelet.
Step 15
Create a chain using nine 6mm jump rings. Use a seventh 6mm jump ring to add the chain to the jump ring at one end of the bracelet.
Step 16
Use a 4mm jump ring to add a clasp to the opposite end of the bracelet.
