- Head pin, gold-plated brass, 3 inches, 21 gauge
- Bead, Crystal Passions®, crystal AB, 8x3mm faceted margarita flower (3700)
- Bead, Crystal Passions®, crystal AB, 10x3.5mm faceted margarita flower (3700)
- Ear wire, gold-plated brass, 17mm fishhook with 2.5mm ball and open loop, 22 gauge
- Bead, Crystal Passions®, crystal AB, 12x4mm faceted margarita flower (3700)
- Bead, gold-finished "pewter" (zinc-based alloy), 24x8mm double-sided angel wings
- Bead, Crystal Passions®, crystal AB, 6x2mm faceted margarita flower (3700)
- Pearl, Preciosa Czech crystal, pearlescent cream, 6mm round
Instructions
Step 1
Thread Crystal Passions® crystal AB margarita beads onto a 3-inch, 21-gauge gold-plated head pin in the following order:
- One 12x4mm margarita bead
- One 10x3.5mm margarita bead
- One 8x3mm margarita bead
- One 6x2mm margarita bead
Step 2
Thread on one 24x8mm gold-finished angel wing bead.
Thread on one 6mm Preciosa Czech pearlescent cream crystal pearl.
Step 3
Approximately 3mm above the top of the pearl, make a 90-degree bend in the head pin.
Using round-nose pliers , form a circle approximately 6mm in diameter.
Grip the loop at the bend using chain-nose or flat-nose pliers and bend it down 90 degrees.
Where the tail overlaps the loop, make a 90-degree bend upward with the remaining tail and form a simple loop.
Make small adjustments as needed to shape a rounded halo.
Step 4
Attach a 17mm gold-plated fishhook ear wire to the simple loop at the top of the halo.
