- Bead mix, acrylic, opaque silver and black, 6mm cube with alphabet letters
- Bead, antique silver-finished "pewter" (zinc-based alloy), 10mm double-sided flat round with spiral design
- Bead, antique silver-plated "pewter" (zinc-based alloy), 6x4mm double-sided saucer
- Bead, cherry "quartz" glass, 6mm round
- Bead, rose quartz (dyed), 6mm round, B grade, Mohs hardness 7
- Bead, silver-plated brass, 4mm double cone
- Charm, imitation nickel-plated brass, 12x11mm double-sided puffed heart
- Charm, silver-plated "pewter" (zinc-based alloy) and enamel, pink, 18x15mm single-sided awareness ribbon
- Cord, Powercord®, elastic, clear, 0.8mm, 8.5 pound test
- Jump ring, silver-plated brass, 3mm round, 1.7mm inside diameter, 22 gauge
- Jump ring, silver-plated brass, 4mm round, 2.4mm inside diameter, 20 gauge
- Adhesive, E6000® Plus
Instructions
Step 1
Cut one 10-inch length of 0.8mm clear Powercord®. Add a bead stopper 1.5-inches from one end of the cord.
Step 2
Add a 4mm jump ring to the awareness charm.
Step 3
Add a 3mm jump ring to the 4mm jump ring on the awareness charm. Add a second 3mm jump ring to the first 3mm jump ring.
Step 4
Add a 4mm jump ring to the heart charm.
Step 5
Thread alphabet beads onto the Powercord in the following order, with a 4mm silver-plated brass double cone bead between each:
S - T - R - E - N - G - T - H.
Step 6
Add the awareness charm by threading its 3mm jump ring onto the strand, orienting the charm forward.
Step 7
Add the heart charm by threading its 4mm jump ring onto the strand.
Step 8
Thread on beads in the following order:
- One 6mm rose quartz round
- One 6x4 antique silver-plated “pewter” double-sided saucer
- Two 6mm cherry “quartz” glass round
- One 6x4 antique silver-plated “pewter” double-sided saucer
- One 6mm rose quartz round
- One 6x4 antique silver-plated “pewter” double-sided saucer
- Two 6mm cherry “quartz” glass round
- One 6x4 antique silver-plated “pewter” double-sided saucer
- One 10mm antique silver-plated “pewter” flat round spiral design
- One 6mm rose quartz round
- One 6x4 antique silver-plated “pewter” double-sided saucer
- Two 6mm cherry “quartz” glass round
- One 6x4 antique silver-plated “pewter” double-sided saucer
- One 6mm rose quartz round
- One 6x4 antique silver-plated “pewter” double-sided saucer
- Two 6mm cherry “quartz” glass round
- One 6x4 antique silver-plated “pewter” double-sided saucer
- One 6mm rose quartz round
Step 9
Remove the bead stopper. Make a surgeon’s knot in the PowerCord. View instructions on "Secret to a Surgeon's Knot" how-to Video and instructions.
Step 10
Open the bead stopper. Center the knot under the first coil, then close it.
Step 11
Use a toothpick to apply a tiny drop of E6000® Plus glue to the knot. Let it dry overnight. Snip the tails and slide the knot into the S alphabet bead.
