French wire, silver-plated brass, 0.7-0.9mm tube
Eye pin, sterling silver, 2 inches, 24 gauge
Bead, sterling silver, 14x4mm smooth double curved tube
Bead, antiqued sterling silver, 5x1mm beaded rondelle
Clasp, toggle, sterling silver, 10mm twisted flat round
Head pin, sterling silver, 2 inches with 1.5mm ball, 24 gauge
Ear wire, sterling silver, 17mm perfect balance angular fishhook with 3mm coil and open loop, heavyweight, 20 gauge
Bead, green tourmaline and pink tourmaline (natural), 4x1mm-5x3mm hand-cut graduated faceted rondelle, B+ grade, Mohs hardness 7 to 7-1/2
Bead, ruby (heated), 5x3mm-8x5mm hand-cut graduated faceted teardrop, C grade, Mohs hardness 9
Chain, sterling silver, 3.5mm round cable
Beading wire, Accu-Flex®, nylon and stainless steel, clear, 49 strand, 0.019-inch diameter
Jump ring, silver-plated brass, 4mm round, 2.4mm inside diameter, 20 gauge

Instructions

Necklace Instructions

Step 1

Cut two 22-inch lengths of Accu-Flex® professional quality beading wire, four 1/2 inch lengths of French Wire and two 1-1/4 inch lengths of 3.5mm round cable chain.

Step 2

String a ruby teardrop onto a 2-inch headpin then create a simple loop. Repeat to create a second drop.

Step 3

String onto one length of beading wire: one crimp and one length of French wire. Pass the beading wire back through the crimp. Pull the beading wire so the crimp rests snug against the French wire leaving approximately 1/4 inch of beading wire on the end. Crimp, then trim the excess from the short end of the beading wire.

Step 4

String the following onto the beading wire:

Three green 5x3mm tourmaline rondelles
One 4x1mm beaded rondelle
One green tourmaline rondelle
One 5x1mm rondelle

Step 5

String the following:

Four green tourmaline rondelles
One 5x1mm beaded rondelle
One pink 5x3mm tourmaline rondelle
One 5x1mm beaded rondelle
Four green tourmaline rondelles

Step 6

String a 5x1mm rondelle, a green tourmaline rondelle and a 5x1mm beaded rondelle.

Step 7

Repeat Steps 5 and 6.

Repeat Step 5 again.

Step 8

String a 5x1mm rondelle, a green tourmaline rondelle and a 4x1mm beaded rondelle.

Step 9

Repeat Steps 5 and 6.

Step 10

String the following:

One 4x1mm beaded rondelle
One pink tourmaline rondelle
One 5x1mm beaded rondelle
Four green tourmaline rondelles
One 4x1mm beaded rondelle

One green tourmaline rondelle
One 5x1mm beaded rondelle

Step 11

Repeat Steps 5 and 6.

Step 12

String four green tourmaline rondelles then pass through one side of a 14x4mm double curved tube.

Step 13

Repeat Step 3 to secure the strand.

Step 14

Using the second length of beading wire, repeat Step 3.

Step 15

String the following onto the beading wire:

Four pink tourmaline rondelles
One 5x1mm beaded rondelle
One pink tourmaline rondelle
One 5x1mm beaded rondelle

Step 16

String the following:

Four pink tourmaline rondelles
One 5x1mm beaded rondelle
One green tourmaline rondelle
One 5x1mm beaded rondelle
Four pink tourmaline rondelles

Step 17

String a 4x1mm beaded rondelle, a pink tourmaline rondelle and a 4x1mm beaded rondelle.

Step 18

Repeat Steps 16 and 17.

Repeat Step 16 again.

Step 19

String a 5x1mm beaded rondelle, a pink tourmaline rondelle and a 5x1mm beaded rondelle.

Step 20

Repeat Step 16 and Step 19 three times.

Step 21

String four pink tourmaline rondelles then pass through the second side of a 14x4mm double curved tube.

Step 22

Repeat Step 3 to secure the strand.

Step 23

Use a 4mm jumpring to attach a drop created in Step 2 to the French wire loop on one half of the 14x4mm double curved tube.

Repeat to attach the second drop to the French wire loop on the opposite side of the double curved tube.

Step 24

Use a 4mm jumpring to attach a length of chain to one end of the necklace.

Repeat to attach the second length of chain to the opposite end of the necklace.

Step 25

Use a 4mm jumpring to attach half of a toggle clasp to the last link of a chain added in Step 24.

Repeat to attach the second half of the toggle clasp to the second length of chain.

Earring Instructions

Step 1

String a ruby teardrop onto a 2-inch headpin then create a simple loop.

Repeat to create a second drop.

Step 2

String the following onto a 2-inch headpin then create a simple loop:

Two green tourmaline rondelles
One 5x1mm rondelle
One pink tourmaline rondelle
One 5x1mm rondelle
Two green tourmaline rondelles

Repeat to create a second link.

Step 3

Use a 4mm jumpring to connect a drop created in Step 1 to a link created in Step 2.

Pass the loop of an earwire through the opposite loop of the link then close.

Repeat to complete the second earring.
