- Bead, antiqued sterling silver, 5x3mm bumpy rondelle
- Bead, ruby (heated), 5x3mm-8x5mm hand-cut graduated faceted teardrop, C grade, Mohs hardness 9
- Bead, sterling silver, 4x2mm smooth rondelle
- Beading wire, Accu-Flex®, nylon and stainless steel, pearl, 49 strand, 0.019-inch diameter
- Clasp, lobster claw, sterling silver, 9x4.5mm with swivel
- Crimp cover, sterling silver-filled, 3x2.3mm round
- Crimp, sterling silver, 2mm cut tube, 1.4mm inside diameter
- Jump ring, sterling silver, 4.5mm round, 2.6mm inside diameter, 19 gauge
- Jump ring, sterling silver, 6mm round, 4.2mm inside diameter, 18 gauge
- Wire protector, Accu-Guard™, sterling silver-filled, 4.5mm tube with 0.5mm inside diameter
In this step-by-step guide, we will show you how to string a stunning ruby and rondelle bracelet using Accu-Flex® professional-quality beading wire, highlighting the captivating qualities of July's birthstone. Whether you're making it as a heartfelt gift or for resale, this tutorial will demonstrate just how effortless it can be to create a truly exquisite piece of jewelry.
Instructions
Bracelet
Step 1
Cut a 10-inch length of Accu-Flex® professional quality beading wire.
Step 2
String a crimp and an Accu-Guard™ wire protector onto the beading wire. Pass the beading wire back through the crimp. Pull the beading wire so the crimp rests snug against the Accu-Guard, leaving approximately 1/4 inch of beading wire on the end. Crimp. Snip off the tail. Finish with a crimp cover.
Step 3
String the following:
- One 4x1mm beaded rondelle
- Seven sets of: one ruby teardrop (narrow end first), one 5x3 bumpy rondelle, one ruby teardrop (wide end first), one 4x1 beaded rondelle, one 4x2 smooth rondelle, one 4x1 beaded rondelle
- One ruby teardrop (narrow end first), one 5x3mm bumpy rondelle, one ruby teardrop (wide end first)
- One 4x1mm beaded rondelle
Step 4
Repeat Step 2 to secure the strand.
Step 5
Attach the lobster claw clasp with a 4.5mm jump ring.
Attach a 6mm jump ring to the Accu-Guard™ on the opposite end.
