- Bead, antique silver-plated "pewter" (zinc-based alloy), 7x6mm rondelle
- Bead, antiqued "pewter" (zinc-based alloy), 7.5mm beaded rondelle with dots
- Bead, blue labradorite (natural), 8mm round, B- grade, Mohs hardness 6 to 6-1/2
- Bead, leopardskin jasper (natural), 8mm round, B grade, Mohs hardness 6-1/2 to 7
- Charm, antique silver-plated "pewter" (zinc-based alloy), 17x12mm single-sided elephant
- Charm, JBB Findings, antique silver-plated brass, 21x21mm fancy heart with swirl design
- Cord, Beadalon® ELASTICITY®, elastic rubber, 0.8mm diameter, clear.
- Jump ring, antique silver-plated brass, 6mm round, 4.2mm inside diameter, 18 gauge
Instructions
Step 1
Cut a 10-inch length of ELASTICITY® 0.8mm clear elastic cord. Add a bead stopper to the end of the cord, about 1 inch from the end.
Step 2
Add an elephant charm with a heart charm underneath to a 6mm 18-gauge jump ring. Set aside.
Step 3
String on this pattern of beads three times:
- One 7x6mm antique silver-plated rondelle bead
- Two 8mm leopardskin jasper round beads
- One 8mm labradorite round bead
- Two 8mm leopardskin jasper round beads
Step 4
String beads in the following order:
- One 7x6mm antique silver-plated rondelle bead
- Two 8mm leopardskin jasper round beads
- One 8mm labradorite round bead
- One 7.5mm antiqued “pewter” rondelle bead with dots
- The jump ring containing the elephant and heart charms
- One 7.5mm antiqued “pewter” rondelle bead with dots
- One 8mm labradorite round bead
- Two 8mm leopardskin jasper round beads
Step 5
Pull the cords taut and make a surgeon's knot. Apply a drop of E6000® Plus adhesive. Allow it to dry for 24 hours.
Cut the tails close to the knot. Hide the knot inside the 7x6mm antique silver-plated rondelle bead.
