Instructions
Molding
Make a ball with clean hands and flatten it out. Shape it like regular clay using your hands and imagination.
Drying
Use a hot air dryer for 5-10 minutes, or leave your clay creation to dry for a day. The clay becomes as rigid as dried plaster.
Filing/Sanding
Prepare the piece for firing by filing cracks and smoothing it with a file or sandpaper. More clay can be added for repairs or details before it is fired.
Firing
After firing the piece on your gas stove top, with a mini torch or an electric kiln, the clay will burn off leaving 99.9 percent pure silver.
Cleaning/Polishing
Depending on desired outcome, polish with a wire brush, various sandpapers, a burnisher or buffing equipment.
Complete!
The finished product is a one-of-a-kind, pure silver treasure. Incorporate into jewelry or craft designs.
