- Ear wire, gold-plated brass, 16x12mm oval swirl with 2mm ball, 19 gauge
- Focal, mango wood (coated), 50x49.5mm double-sided laser-cut flower with cutouts
- Gold leaf sheet, 88% copper/12% zinc, 5-1/2 x 5-1/2 inches
- Dye, Castin' Craft®, blue
- Mica powder, Gold Leaf & Metallic Powders, Silver
- Mica powder, Gold Leaf & Metallic Powders, sparkle gold
- Mixing cup, silicone, white, (2) 1/8 ounce and (2) 1/2 ounce cups
- Resin tape, PET, blue, 2" wide
- Resin, EnviroTex® Jewelry Resin, 2-part
- Stir stick, silicone, white, 4-3/4 x 1/3 inches
- Digital scale, plastic and stainless steel, 3-3/4 x 2 inches
Instructions
Resin-Filled Focals
Step 1
Cut a piece of resin tape the appropriate size to fit the focal or component you’ll be using.
Step 2
Place tape on component and press firmly, making sure it is attached well to prevent resin from leaking.
Step 3
Mix your resin solution as preferred and according to manufacturer's directions.
Step 4
Using a small resin tool, place resin in the opening(s) of component.
Step 5
Allow to dry and cure 48 hours.
Step 6
Carefully peel away the tape from the backside of the piece.
