Instructions
Print an image and cut to fit in the silver-plated brass focal, approximately 38mm round. Preheat an oven to 265 degrees Fahrenheit. Apply a thin layer of liquid polymer clay to both sides of the cutout image. Bake for 20 minutes on a silicon mat.
Apply a thin layer of E6000® Fray Lock to the inside of the focal setting. Press the image onto the setting. Apply four very small drops of Devcon® epoxy to the inside rim of the setting, being careful not to spill onto the cutout image. Press into place a glass design element component. Set aside to dry.
Use Devcon epoxy to attach a heart-shaped bail to the back bottom side of the focal piece with the 90 degree bend in the bail set along the edge of the focal. Set aside to dry.
Pass a light rose bead onto a head pin then form a simple loop. Repeat to create a total of two light rose drops, three citrine drops and three rose drops.
Cut a 1/2 inch length of cable chain. Open an 8mm twisted round jump ring and slide on the bail on the bottom of the focal then close the jump ring.
Open a 4mm round jump ring and slide on the 8mm jump ring, a star charm and the length of chain. Close the jump ring.
Attach the drops created in Step 4 to the chain and use 4mm jump rings to attach star charms to the chain.
Attach an ice-pick bail to the top loop of the focal piece. Pass one end of the snake chain through the bail to complete the necklace.
