- Bolo tip, antique silver-finished "pewter" (zinc-based alloy), 30x7mm with fancy design
- Drop, amethyst (natural) / electroplated silver / silver-plated sterling silver, dark, 9x8mm-11x8mm hand-cut faceted cone
- Drop, amethyst (natural) and silver-plated copper, small hand-cut nugget
- Inlay chip, amethyst (natural), mini undrilled chip, Mohs hardness 7
- Bead reamer, Beadalon®, plastic and diamond-coated steel, blue and black, 5-1/2 x 1-1/4 inches with 2-inch tips
- Top coat, Signature Series Magic-Glos® by Lisa Pavelka, non-toxic dimensional gloss
- Focal, glue-in, antique silver-finished "pewter" (zinc-based alloy), 39mm single-sided round with 30mm round setting
- Bolo slide, nickel-plated brass, 19x16mm lever-action
- Adhesive, epoxy, Devcon® 2 Ton® Clear Epoxy, 30-minute, 2-part
- Bonding clips, steel and rubber, 2 inches with 1/2 inch grip
- Jump ring, silver-plated brass, 4mm round, 2.4mm inside diameter, 20 gauge
- Bolo cord, leatherette, black, 3.5-4mm textured round
Instructions
Bolo Tie Instructions
Step 1
Use a bead reamer to add texture to the front of a bolo slide.
Step 2
Add a thin layer of Magic-Glos® to the setting of a 39mm focal. Add gemstone chips to the setting then cure with a UV light.
Step 3
Use Devcon® 2-part Epoxy to add the bolo slide to the back of the pendant. Clamp in place and set aside to cure.
Step 4
Thread the bolo cord through the bolo slide then use Devcon 2-part Epoxy to glue a bolo tip to each end of the cord.
Step 5
Use jump rings to attach a nugget drop to each end of the cord. Use a third jump ring to attach a faceted cone drop to the loop of the focal.
