Instructions
Cut a 1-1/2 inch length of PET 2-inch blue resin tape. Place the tape on a hard surface, sticky side up. Set a 32x25mm gold-finished open moon focal in the center of the tape and press down to adhere the tape to the edges of the moon component. Make sure the tape adheres all the way around the back of the component, as resin will seep out of the smallest unsecured place.
Mix a very small amount of EnviroTex Lite® 2-part clear resin, following the manufacturer's instructions. Using a pipette, add just enough resin to cover the tape inside the moon component. Run a lighter or heat gun quickly over the surface of the resin to release bubbles. Let it cure for 24 hours.
Remove the resin tape. If necessary, use rubbing alcohol and a cotton swab or cotton pad to remove any tape residue.
Mix a very small amount of EnviroTex Lite® 2-part clear resin, following the manufacturer's instructions. Using a pipette, add just enough resin to cover the first layer of resin.
Using fine-tipped tweezers, place Ethiopian opal mini undrilled inlay chips into the moon component, one at a time in a single layer. Most of the chips should break the surface of the resin to add texture to the design. Run a lighter or heat gun quickly over the surface of the resin to release bubbles. Let it cure for 24 hours.
Thread an 18-inch 0.8mm gold-finished Venetian box chain through the loop on the moon component.
