How to Create the Square Stitch
Instructions
Step 1
Attach a stop bead to the end of the thread then string the desired number of seed beads for the first row (based on the desired width of the design).
Step 2
String an additional seed bead then pass through the last bead added in the base row.
Pull the thread so the beads stack on top of each other, then pass through the bead just added.
Step 3
String an additional seed bead, pass through the next bead from the base row, then pull the thread tight stacking the beads.
Pass through the bead just added. Repeat to complete the second row.
Step 4
Pass the thread through the entire base row then through the row just added, securing the beads in place.
Step 5
Repeat to create the desired number of rows passing through the previous row and the row just added with each row.
