Instructions
Prepare a pattern using our downloadable looming graph paper. This project is 7 beads wide.
Prepare a loom with 8 warp threads. Double the threads on the outside of the loom for strength, leaving sufficient thread on the ends of each section to allow for threading each warp thread and doing more work with it.
Tip: View our ''How to Set Up a Beading Loom'' how-to video and illustrated instructions for more information.
Create the loomed pieces you need for your embellished shirt. You will need to adjust your pattern for each size piece you need by repeating patterns or adding more rows of beads at the beginning or end of a design component.
If your design requires one of your loomed pieces to bend, you will need to create two pieces:
Tack the finished pieces of loom work to your shirt using Lacy's Stiff Stuff to back it for added strength.
Thread each remaining warp thread and pull it through to the back of the shirt. Tie the threads together in the back and secure with E6000® Fray Lock.
