Instructions
String one 8mm round lapis lazuli bead onto a 22-gauge 1-1/2 inch eyepin. Using a pair of round-nose pliers, chain-nose pliers and flush-cutters, form a simple loop on the straight end of the wire, creating an 8mm round lapis lazuli beading link. Repeat to create six 8mm round lapis lazuli beading links.
Repeat to create each the following using one 24-gauge 1-1/2 inch eyepin for each and beads indicated:
Using flush-cutters, cut six 1-link lengths of gold-filled 19x5mm oval chain, six 3-link lengths of gold-filled 5x4mm ribbed cable chain and one 9-link length of gold-filled 5x4mm ribbed cable chain.
Using a pair of chain-nose pliers and flat-nose pliers, open a 3.5mm jumpring. Pass it through the loop on the toggle portion of the clasp and the first link on a 3-link length of gold-filled 5x4mm ribbed cable chain. Close the jumpring.
Continue connecting components in the following order with one 3.5mm jumpring in between each beading link:
Open a 3.5mm jumpring. Pass it through the last 8mm round lapis lazuli beading link and the first link of the 9-link length of gold-filled 5x4mm ribbed cable chain. Close the jumpring.
Repeat Step 4, backwards, to create the second half of the strand in a mirror image of the first half of the strand, attaching the first 8mm round lapis lazuli beading link to the first link of the 9-link length of gold-filled 5x4mm ribbed cable chain using a 3.5mm jumpring.
Using flush-cutters, cut the head off of a 22-gauge 1-1/2 inch eyepin. String one flat faceted teardrop lapis lazuli bead onto the wire. Using a pair of round-nose pliers, chain-nose pliers and flush-cutters make the first loop of the briolette wrapped loop. Pass the loop through the second link on the 9-link length of gold-filled 5x4mm ribbed cable chain. Finish the briolette wrapped loop to hold the bead in place.
Repeat to attach a flat faceted teardrop lapis lazuli bead briolette wrapped drop to the fourth link on the 9-link length of gold-filled 5x4mm ribbed cable chain.
Repeat to attach two flat faceted teardrop green kyanite briolette wrapped drops to the third link and one flat faceted teardrop green kyanite briolette wrapped drop to the seventh link on the 9-link length of gold-filled 5x4mm ribbed cable chain.
Repeat to attach one flat faceted teardrop blue kyanite briolette wrapped drop to the first, third and seventh links on the 9-link length of gold-filled 5x4mm ribbed cable chain.
Using flush-cuttiers, cut the head off of a 22-gauge 1-1/2 inch eyepin. String one puffed teardrop lapis lazuli bead onto the wire. Using a pair of round-nose pliers, chain-nose pliers and flush-cutters make a briolette wrapped loop.
Repeat to create eight small teardrop pink sapphire briolette wrapped drops, using one small teardrop pink sapphire bead and one gold-filled 24-gauge eyepin.
Open a 3.5mm jumpring. Pass it through the loop on the puffed teardrop lapis lazuli bead briolette wrapped loop and the last link of the 9-link length of gold-filled 5x4mm ribbed cable chain.
Repeat to attach one teardrop pink sapphire briolette wrapped drop to each of the links of the 9-link length of gold-filled 5x4mm ribbed cable chain except for the third link.
