- Bead, Preciosa Czech crystal, light Siam, 4mm faceted bicone
- Bead, Preciosa Czech crystal, peridot, 4mm faceted bicone
- Beading hoop, stainless steel, 40x24mm teardrop with loop
- Ear wire, stainless steel, 21mm fishhook with 3mm ball and 4mm coil, 21 gauge
- Head pin, silver-plated brass, 3 inches, 21 gauge
- Jump ring, silver-plated brass, 3mm round, 1.7mm inside diameter, 22 gauge
Instructions
Step 1
Insert the end of the wire on one 40x23mm beading hoop into the tube at the top. Use chain-nose pliers to crimp the tube to secure the beading hoop in place. Repeat to secure a second beading hoop.
Step 2
String five sets of one peridot 4mm bicone and one light Siam 4mm bicone onto one 3-inch headpin.
Gently curve the head of the headpin up so it resembles a candy cane. Verify the curve is enough to allow the candy cane to fit inside the center of the beading hoop. Form a simple loop on the straight end of the wire. Repeat to create a duplicate candy cane.
Step 3
Pass one 3mm jumpring through the loop on one candy cane and the loop in the center of the beading hoop then close.
Attach one fishhook earwire to the loop at the top of the beading hoop.
Repeat to create a second earring.
