Instructions
Cut a 10-inch length of 14-gauge half-hard sterling silver wire.
Grip one end of the wire at the base of the jaw of round-nose pliers. Bend the wire around the jaw to create a circle.
Move the pliers to grip the wire where the circle meets. Bend the wire into a circle approximately 2 inches in diameter, bringing the end of the wire inside the larger circle.
Bend the end of the wire inside the larger circle around the base of the jaw of round nose pliers to create an inner smaller circle.
Hammer the focal to flatten the wire.
Cut a 36-inch length of 28-gauge Zebra wire.
Tightly wrap one end of the 28-gauge wire around the focal four times, through the outer small circle, near the connection.
Bring the wire toward the front of the focal.
Make a 90-degree bend in the wire, making it perpendicular to the wire of the focal.
String a 4mm bicone onto the wire then tightly wrap around the focal.
Repeat to add the bead pattern of your choice along the entire spiral.
Tightly wrap the wire around the focal four times after the last bead is added.
Mix a small amount of Devcon® 5-Minute® Epoxy according to the manufacturer's instructions.
Apply a small layer of adhesive over the wrapped wires on the back of the focal then set aside to cure.
Add a jump ring to the outer small loop of the pendant.
Cut a 32-inch length of Accu-Flex® professional-quality beading wire.
String a crimp and an Accu-Guard™ wire protector onto the beading wire. Pass the beading wire back through the crimp. Pull the beading wire so the crimp rests approximately 1mm from the Accu-Guard leaving approximately 1/4 inch of beading wire on the end. Crimp, trim the excess wire and add a crimp cover.
String 110 silver tube beads, the jump ring of the pendant and 110 silver tube beads.
Repeat Step 11 to secure the strand.
Use a jump ring to add a clasp to one end of the necklace. Add another jump ring to the opposite end.
Cut a 9-inch length of 14-gauge half-hard sterling silver wire.
Grip one end of the wire at the base of the jaw of round-nose pliers. Bend the wire around the jaw to create a circle.
Move the pliers to grip the wire where the circle meets. Bend the wire into a circle approximately 1 1/2 inches in diameter, bringing the end of the wire inside the larger circle.
