Instructions
Cut the following:
Make a teardrop-shaped bend approximately 1 x 1/2 inches in the center of the aqua blue 24-inch length of wire, with the two tails diverging in a shallow V-shape.
Form one tail into a circular loop approximately 1-1/2 inches from the teardrop then repeat to add two more loops. Finish by wrapping the tail around the top of the third loop twice then trim excess wire. Repeat on the opposite side.
Hammer the bottom of the loops flat.
Using one 8-inch length of turquoise blue wire, wrap one end around the bottom of the outermost loop of aqua blue wire once. Form a wide U-shaped bend in the wire then wrap once around the bottom of the center loop. Repeat, continuing the pattern then end by wrapping twice around the side of the teardrop. Trim excess wire.
Repeat on the opposite side.
Using the 14-inch length of sapphire blue wire, repeat the wire-wrap pattern from Step 3, starting from the bottom of the outermost U-shape of the turquoise blue wire, going around the bottom of the teardrop then up the other side.
Repeat this pattern using the 14-inch length of purple wire to add a row of U-shaped bends between the bottom of each of the previous row's U-shaped bends. Trim excess wire.
Form a teardrop-shaped bend in the center of the 14-inch length of magenta wire.
Position the teardrop so it hangs below the center U-shape from the purple row of wire. Continue the pattern of U-shaped bends to connect the magenta wire to the center of the U-shaped bends in the purple row. Trim excess wire.
Form a simple loop on the end of a 3-inch length of wire. String a 6mm bicone onto the wire then form a simple loop, creating a 6mm bicone link. Repeat to create a total of twelve 6mm bicone links.
Form a simple loop on a 3-inch length of wire. String a 3mm bicone, 6mm bicone and 3mm bicone onto the wire then form a simple loop. Repeat to create a total of twelve beaded links.
String a 6mm bicone onto a head pin then form a simple loop. Repeat to create a total of six 6mm bicone drops, six 4mm bicone drops and two 3mm bicone drops.
String a 3mm, 4mm and 6mm bicone onto a head pin then form a simple loop. Repeat to create a second beaded drop.
Form the 4-inch length of purple wire into an "S" adding a small loop to each end. Form a 3-inch length of purple wire into an elongated "C" (one end longer than the other) with a small loop on each end. Hammer the sides of the S and C flat.
Attach the following in order:
Repeat on the opposite side of the focal.
Attach one beaded drop to the top of the aqua blue teardrop (where the wires cross) then attach the other beaded drop to the bottom of the magenta teardrop.
Attach the other drops to the magenta wire as follows:
Cut two 8-inch lengths of each of the following colors of wire:
Following the U-shape row pattern from the Necklace instructions above, create the following rows of wire, starting with the first row attached to a blue earring hoop:
String a 4mm bicone onto a head pin then form a simple loop. Repeat to create a total of four 4mm drops and two 6mm drops.
Create one beaded drop using a 3mm, 4mm and 6mm bicone.
Attach the beaded drop to the bottom of the wire teardrop then attach one 4mm drop to either side. Attach a 4mm and 6mm drop to both magenta "U" bends.
Repeat Steps 2 - 4 to create a second earring.
