Cut the following lengths of 12-gauge wire:
Cut the following lengths of 18-gauge wire:
Wrap the 26-inch length of wire once around a large circular object. Make a circle on the outside of the first loop using a small circular object. Repeat to add a small circle on the opposite side. Continue to wrap around the large object two more times.
Place approximately 1 inch of one end of the 14-inch wire on a steel block. Use a hammer to flatten and texturize the wire to the desired effect. Repeat on the other end.
Position one end of the 14-inch wire just above one of the small loops. Wrap tightly around the inside of the focal eight times. Wrap once around the jaw of round-nose pliers to leave a space large enough to slide a jump ring through then wrap tightly eight more times. Position the end of the wire in a similar position opposite the first.
Wrap the 6-inch wire two times around the focal opposite the 14-inch wire. Form a small loop inside the focal by wrapping around the jaw of round-nose pliers then wrap once more. Trim excess wire.
Bend the 2-inch wire into a triangle to create an ice-pick bail. Use the bail to attach a quartz crystal moon drop to the loop on the inside of the focal.
Pass a heishi bead, a square amethyst bead and a quartz crystal bead onto a head pin then form a wrapped loop. Repeat to create a total of three drops.
Use jump rings to attach one of the drops created in Step 7 to each of the small circles on either side of the focal. Attach the remaining drop to the loop created in Step 4.
Form a simple loop on one end of a 1-1/2 inch wire. Slide on a round amethyst bead then form a larger simple loop using the barrel of round-nose pliers.
Form a simple loop on one end of the other 1-1/2 inch wire. Slide on a round amethyst bead. Wrap the remaining wire around the barrel of round-nose pliers. Use the tip of round-nose pliers to bend approximately 1/4 inch of the wire outward. Create a small loop to finish the hook clasp.
Cut two 9-1/2 inch lengths of flat figure 8 chain. Use jump rings to attach half the clasp created in Step 9 to the end of each chain. Use jump rings to attach the other ends of the chains to the outside circles of the focal.
Cut an 18-inch length of Accu-Flex® professional quality beading wire.
String a crimp and an Accu-Guard™ wire protector onto the beading wire. Pass the beading wire back through the crimp. Pull the beading wire so the crimp rests snug against the Accu-Guard leaving approximately 1/4 inch of beading wire on the end. Crimp then add a crimp cover.
Pass on an unfaceted round amethyst bead then string the following pattern:
Repeat the pattern a total of seven times then add another set of quartz crystal, heishi and faceted round amethyst beads. Finish with an unfaceted round amethyst bead then repeat Step 2 to secure the strand.
Use a 6mm jump ring to add a lobster claw clasp to the end of the necklace. Add a 6mm jump ring to the opposite end.
Cut a 15-inch length of 4mm long cable chain. Use a 6mm jump rings to attach a lobster claw clasp to the end of the chain. Add a 6mm jump ring to the opposite end.
Cut a 7-inch length of 18-gauge wire.
Use a small round object to bend the wire into a figure eight shape leaving parallel tails coming off the center point in opposite directions. Cut the tails to the desired length.
Place the wire onto a steel block and use a hammer to flatten and texturize, avoiding where the wire crosses.
Pass a heishi bead, a square amethyst bead and a quartz crystal bead onto a head pin. Form a wrapped loop.
Slide the drop created in Step 4 and an ear wire onto opposite ends of the wire focal.
Repeat Steps 1 - 5 to create a second earring.
