Instructions
Cut the following:
Place one edge of a 12mm sterling silver square-wire component inside an 8x3mm sterling silver ice-pick bail, then pinch the bail closed in the hole at the top of a 46x20mm tigereye flat teardrop focal.
Add two 6mm 18-gauge sterling silver round jump rings, side by side, to the 12mm square wire component.
Make a hook clasp by making a tiny loop using the tip of round-nose pliers at one end of the 2-1/2 inch 20-gauge wire. Set the barrel of the pliers on the opposite side of the wire from the loop and, 1/3 of the way up the barrel of the piers, make a U-turn around the barrel to make a hook shape. About half an inch from the tip of the hook, set the barrel of the round-nose pliers on the opposite side of the wire. Make a loop about one quarter the way up the barrel of the pliers. Add one end of the 17-1/2 inch chain to the loop. Wrap the tail three times around the base of the hook right next to the loop you just made. Cut off and tuck in the tail.
Thread the chain through the jump rings at the top of the tigereye focal. Add another 6mm round jump ring to the free end of the chain.
Cut one 4-inch length of 20-gauge sterling silver dead-soft round wire.
Make a 2-revolution closed spiral in the end of the wire. Thread the wire through an 18x13mm tigereye lentil-drilled leaf bead, leaving a 1/3 inch tail and the spiral free at the end. Wrap the tail around the back of the bead to the front, leaving the spiral on the bottom front of the bead, pointing downward. Make a wrapped loop with the opposite end of the wire snugly against the top of the bead, adding a 12mm sterling silver square-wire component to the loop before wrapping.
Add an 18mm sterling silver leverback ear wire to the 12mm square wire component, orienting it so it faces the spiral side.
Repeat Steps 1 - 3 for the second earring.
